šØš Painting the bottom of a sailboat
One of the best things you can do for a sailboat is to do a bottom coat / painting. The type I am using is called an ablative paint, which means that it will come off a little bit at a time when organisms try to grow onto it. It also makes the boat faster in the water, which will be great. It looks fantastic to boot, the only problem is it is VERY stinky and you need to use a respirator when you are applying it.
Here is the process of me redoing the bottom of the yacht. I'm so excited with how it turned out, this was really the last big thing I had to do before the boat could be put in the water.
