š ļøš Fixing my Seacocks
This post should be a historical documentation of the seacock removal / replacement process.
Two existing very old "cone style" seacocks were part of the boat when it was purchased. One of them was not in use / sealed up, the other needed to be replaced for the ship head / toilet to be functional again. It could be used with a bucket but I try to fix everything I can while I can, so I am able to enjoy tranquilo to the best.
There were three seacocks total in Tranquilo when I bought her, there is one additional one under the port cockpit storage locker. While this wasn't addressed, it may be replaced at the end of this season out of neurotic desire to "fix all the things". One thing at a time... tranquilo...
